French acetate, generous shapes, color that pops.
FHone is a younger French maker, founded by industry veterans who wanted to build a collection around two ideas: oversized silhouettes with real presence, and Mazzucchelli acetates in colorways nobody else was using.
The build is straightforward and serious — Italian acetate, French design direction, traditional construction (riveted hinges, polished bevels). What makes the line stand out is the color: high-pigment marbled acetates, translucent shades that pick up light, two-tone laminations.
FHone reads younger and more playful than the heritage houses, but the construction quality holds up alongside any of them.
Any of the oversized round or square shapes in a translucent jewel-tone acetate. They photograph beautifully and wear surprisingly comfortably.
Because clients tired of black-and-tortoise need a place to go. FHone is the maker we point them to first.
